Having Fun @ The Pool #5

It is time for another great collection of DIYP reader's images.

I could not resist watching the images submitted to DIYP Flickr pool, no matter how late it became and mark a few favs.

The range of images, as always, is a great variety ranging from portraiture to still life to abstract.

I am going to try something new and make the next pool-fun all about portraiture.

Do submit studio portraits, opportunity portraits, kids portraits, on location portraits, off location portraits, self portraits, black and white portraits, friends portraits, OK, I think you get the point.

Wow..

It's astounding how vast and numerous the talents on Flickr are. This is a great and very varied collection of images. Too many great ones to comment on, but I really like "Night Sky Over Country House," "NorthWestern," "Belladona presenta "Show"", and "Acute Viral Nasopharyngitis (Week Eight of Fifty-Two)". The colors and texture in "Like An Old Pair Of Shoes" are fantastic.

You have very talented readers.

like an old pair of shoes

is a bit over saturated :P on my monitor are not so red.

it a test for a new setup, a white panel on the ground a opaque panel @90° as background and two flash, on for direct light and one behind the opaque panel.

re: like an old pair of shoes

Thanks for sharing the setup, latente.

More portraits huh?

Great picks, there's much eye-candy in the pool-fun this time around :) A general question though, you requested more portraits to the pool, and I gotta ask: is animal portraits included? Because, I just had a close encounter in the woods with a bunch of cows, and the shots I got turned out pretty well - actually looking like I were trying to portray them ^^

re: portraits

Chris Oquist - Thanks. I found that every time I go into the pool I can spend hours there. Thanks for mentioning the ones you like. I am sure the feedback is appreciated.

Pestbarn - I'll take Bears.  Not your typical portrait but hey, just for making it home safe.
